Darren O'shaughnessy , who commonly writes under the pseudonym Darren Shan, is an Irish writer who is most famous for having written The Saga of Darren Shan and The Demonata series. He has also written the stand-alone works, Koyasan and The Thin Executioner, as well as The City Book Trilogy, for older readers and adults. He is currently releasing a four-book series, The Saga of Larten Crepsley.
